Magali Michaut

Singer-songwriter Magali Michaut has been navigating between French chanson and folk ballad for a decade now, gently painting scenes of life and travel. A modern troubadour, she sets her questions and hopes to music in a world where the inspiring figures of Pomme, Renaud, and Anne Sylvestre are never too far away. On the road since her beginnings, she has performed over 400 concerts, in solo, duos, trios, and more.

Originally from Cergy, in the Val d’Oise region of France, where she studied violin at the Conservatory, Magali has traveled the world and shared her work in numerous countries (Germany, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, the United States, France, Great Britain, Greenland, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Sweden). In 2022, she released “Impressionniste,” her first self-produced album. Her second album, “Prendre de la hauteur”, will be released on March 27, 2026.

Magali Michaut, who holds a PhD in bioinformatics and has lived in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Toronto, and Cambridge, puts her creative gene to work not only in music but also in science.
